Venn Diagrams!!!

there's this chord, called "German augmented 6th chord"
which is
A) by structure (and therefore sound) is enharmonic* to a dominant7th chord
B) belongs to the subdominant group
C) is called German, hence European :)


* enharmonic = two notes of exact same frequency, but spelled differently i e E and Fb
